As the world keeps moving forward, it is unquestionable that the top players in every industry need to focus on discovering new materials to keep on serving their customers with top quality products but now they need to be recyclable, renewable and reusable.

With that in mind, Kaelis has created a new catalogue of new eco-friendly products with the best eco-materials available in the market, such as Kraft paper that has been used in three different product packaging to replace transparent plastic bags. Kraft paper can be recycled up to seven times and it is 100% biodegradable. It also has zero carbon footprint and does not produce toxic fumes, if incinerated.

 

For instance, Aeromexico’s earphones are now packed in a resistant Kraft paper bag specially customised for the airline. 

Kraft paper has also been used to wrap Aeromexico’s comfort kit and earplugs. This comfort kit is being offered to all long-haul passengers travelling in Economy class, aiming to improve the passenger experience. It includes an eye mask and a pair of earplugs.

CPLA is another material that has been used on this project since it is super eco-friendly. This material has been used to replace traditional disposable plastic cutlery sets. It is noteworthy to mention that CPLA generates 68% less greenhouse gas than conventional plastics and has zero carbon footprint derived from carbon-absorbing plants. Aeromexico’s cutlery set is also wrapped in Kraft paper.

Its tumblers and lids for bowls ar made of recycled PET and can also be recycled after use, reducing transportation costs and lowering CO₂emissions.
 

 

Introducing these super eco-materials into onboard products will push our industry to keep working for a better and brighter future. Additionally, eco-friendly products are both good for the environment and safer for consumers.
