Eco-friendly Materials: rPET
rPET (recycled polyethylene terephthalate) comes from plastic that has already been used for packaging. When recycled, bottles made of PET are cleaned, sorted and crushed into miniscule flakes. Then these flakes are heated to the melting point, and transformed into yarn. This yarn is then used to make up fabric for items, this means fewer bottles end up buried in landfill.
It is absolutely safe to be used in food and beverage packaging, it converts post consumer waste into a valuable resource and has a lower carbon footprint than virgin PET.
Uses: fibre for clothing and carpets, fiberfill for soft furnishings, food and non-food bottles, blankets and textiles, cups and take-out containers and much more!
